All of my work is recorded from a professional-standard, fully sound insulated, home voice-over studio.
The vocal booth itself has an exterior shell constructed of 12mm ply wood, which is carpeted, and has a carpeted ceiling and padded floor. The interior wall is constructed from 6mm ply, with rock wool insulation within the cavity, and lined with acoustic studio foam wedge tiles from Advanced Acoustics.
The equipment I use includes:
- MacBook Air (recording on GarageBand or Logic Pro)
- Rode NT1 Microphone and pop shield
- Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4th Gen) audio interface.
